We are Stefano and Caroline, a husband-and-wife team, who want to share our love

Our commitment to the magical pairing of delicious food and wine in good company has inspired the creation of Tappo & Co, your Inner West bottle shop destination for discovering something special to enjoy with loved ones.

Meet Stefano
Meet Stefano, a native of Umbria, Italy. Inspired by the Hollywood classic Cocktail, he left his hometown of Terni for the vibrant city of Milan, where he honed his bartending skills in some of Italy’s most prestigious nightclubs and establishments.
In 2006, Stefano’s journey took him to Australia where the bond with this beautiful country and its endless opportunities convinced him to stay and become an Australian citizen. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality and retail, including successful stints at esteemed bottle shops like Paddington Fine Wines and Merivale, he felt inspired to create something truly special within the Italian and Australian community of Haberfield.

Meet Caroline
Joining Stefano on this adventure is Caroline, a creative jack-of-all-trades with a love of food, wine, and music. A skilled baker and music enthusiast, Caroline has cultivated her knowledge through years of SBS Food Channel consumption, her experience in retail sales with Steinway & Sons in Sydney, and her time in professional services. Currently balancing her corporate career in business development for a global law firm, Caroline dedicates her free time to growing Tappo & Co alongside Stefano and creating the occasional showstopping sugary confection.
